Wolfson College Boat Club, Oxford

Support WCBC

Every Wolfson athlete knows that it takes blood, sweat, and tears to race at the top of Oxford collegiate rowing. But while our boat speed comes from the enthusiasm and dedication of our athletes, keeping the club competitive takes a bit more than that.

Wolfson relies on the generosity of donors, sponsors, and the colleges to provide the equipment, coaching salaries, and training opportunities that allow our athletes to reach their peak potential. Wolfson College is known for its egalitarian ethos, and we want everyone studying at Wolfson and St. Cross to be able to give Oxford’s most iconic pasttime a try. In that spirit we try to keep costs as low as possible for our members, and truly appreciate your support.

Donations in any amount are immensely helpful. They allow us to keep our equipment up-to-date, our coaches fed, and our entry fees paid. Donations have full charitable status and can be made easily online. If you are considering a large donation, please contact our president to discuss how it will be used and how we can thank you.

The Friends of Wolfson College Boat Club is designed as a more formal way to involve long-term supporters who are considering annual donations between £50 and £500. For more details on the programme, click here.
